Brave Saint Saturn is a side-project of former members of Five Iron Frenzy, a self-described "astro-rock" band. The music of Brave Saint Saturn (BS2) is generally more serious than the lighthearted FIF, originally an outlet for Five Iron's Reese Roper to explore themes of loneliness and abandonment as well as more complex musical instrumentation and electronic sampling.
